Fifteen years ago I relocated to Renton when I accepted a job offer with the federal government. The location and energy of Renton convinced me that this was the place to call home. I am a homeowner in the Tiffany Park neighborhood of Renton.

Since first moving to Renton I have served in a number of local organizations in our community, to include President of a local Home Owners Association. Currently I am, a member of the City of Renton Human Services Committee, serving as its Chair for the last 3 years. Attending the Renton Police Department’s Citizens Academy, taking classes at Renton Technical College, or participating in the fitness activities at the Renton Community Center are all part of what makes me appreciate Renton as a vibrant and dynamic city.

My professional career includes service with the federal government, Alaska Airlines and several contract houses as a certified Project Manager in an industrial setting. I am currently employed as a Project Manager with The Boeing Company. Prior to coming to Renton, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Idaho and a Master of Arts in International Relations from Lancaster University in Great Britain.

Since 1990 I have served as a member of the U.S. Army Reserve in a variety of different leadership positions, all of which have been a privilege to hold. Currently I serve as the Deputy Commander of a Brigade that has strength of more then 1,300 soldiers and a multi million dollar budget.

Mary and I enjoy spending our leisure time traveling, exercising and dining out locally.
